"When you expect the very best"
Atlantic Beach is the northernmost of the Jacksonville Beaches communities. Development of Atlantic Beach took off around 1900 after Henry Flagler built the Mayport stop of his East Coast Railway to the north of the town. The Atlantic Beach Corporation bought and developed most of the land in what is now Atlantic Beach in 1915, and the town was incorporated in 1926. Atlantic Beach is a city of small town charm, unique history and a community many are proud to call home.
Atlantic Beach offers 14 ocean accesses to the beach and has 65 acres of parks. It has several special events, including acoustic music nights at one park, the Adele Grage Cultural Center, and North Beaches’ Art Walk.
A massive redevelopment along the beaches has brought trendier condominium choices to the area. The Town Center area of Atlantic Beach—at the foot of Atlantic Boulevard—is a charming shopping and dining area with brick pavers, landscaping and architecture that mix old and new Florida to create a uniquely appealing atmosphere.
